i have no idea if this is true either, but DAMN i hope it is. Granted, i'm sure the abuse issues are getting pounded out, and it'll be interesting to see what sort of level of compatibility eventually boils out of the union, but ANY cross talk between major IM clients is a huge move.

I'm not sure how MSN will do it, but it's fairly simple to do in Y!Messenger. We've already merged with a bunch of existing services, so you can IM "jrconlin" for my normal yahoo.com account
or "jrconlin@sbcglobal.net" for my SBC DSL account (which I don't really use). Both are completely seperate.
