:: Firing up the CB

Well, as mentioned in the forum, i still think that weblogs are the CB radios of the new millennium. Of course, that's never stopped me from leaping headlong onto the bandwagon before.

i'd also note that part of my motivation for this is to not inflict my random brain wave patterns upon my loyal readers because God knows my writing does enough damage as is.

So, for now, the grand experiment begins.

    CB (Citizen Band) Radios were quite the thing in the late 70's. All the cool kids had them, much to the annoyance of the folks that actually needed them to do work, like, say truckers, boat captians, etc. For about a year or two, it just got ugly on the air and made for some of the best flame fodder known.

    Oooh. I remember those. Truckers used them to keep track of each other, and to comment on hot babes in cars that passed them.
