Steve occasionally rants about folks treating his blog as a personal forum. Today, someone posted a comment to Jeremy Z's blog suggesting that he stick to MySQL instead of politics.
Folks, "blog" is short for "web logbook". A Logbook is 2: A record book with periodic entries. Note that there is no statement about intent of public consumption of such entries. These are personal observations.
Jeremy, who enjoys working with a fair amount of MySQL posts about it from time to time. He also enjoys flying a glider and posts about that about as much.
Steve is a funny guy who posts principally to keep himself amused.

All of us use categories to specify the type of entry we are making. If you don't like to read about Jeremy's flying, don't read his personal articles. If you don't have an interest in American Judasim, skip that category from Radwin's. And if you don't like reading the result of some jerk getting pissy about stuff that hasn't happened to him, tough.
