Around mid day i found the mail man unwilling to hand me a box he was carrying. No surprise, since it was a gift from Valette and Steve.
And yes, it smells as absolutely wonderful as it looks. Considering that i'm a real vanilla addict, this is not too dissimilar to sending a crate of sudafed to a meth addict.
What's more, now i feel woefully inadequate and need to come up with a suitable gift in exchange.
Ah well, Merry/Happy Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Festive Kwanzaa, Pleasant Saturnalia, Joyous Yule, Balanced Dōngzhì, Merry Yalda, Zippy Zagmuk, a Kindly Korochun, a Venerable Sol Invictus, Happy Junkanoo, and whatever other Holiday that this season includes.
(Hey, it's the one time of the year where nearly everyone on the planet has a reason to be happy. Ok, maybe not the Zagmuk "king" but the rest of the folks around are partying it up.)
