At work, there's a lovely, framed sign hanging over the kitchen sink reminding us that for the health and safety of our fellow employees, we should not spit or brush our teeth there.
It's the blinding strokes of the obvious that people are most likely to miss. So i began wondering what other things i should remind my fellow employees not to do(pdf).

I was happy to see those signs go up. For a long time after moving to the new campus, people were using those sinks for a variety of personal hygiene tasks. Flat out nasty. People are gross.

At one previous workplace, we had a company-wide email instructing whoever habitually brought the sports page into the west mens room stall to please refrain from doing it any longer. People ARE gross.
