People tweet, they update their statuses, they post crap they find to tumblr or digg or reddit. Conversation (although never really present) has devolved to 140 characters or less.
Rarely do people who aren't political, pushing gadgets or byproducts of the evaporating journalism markets actually go for anything long form.
i kind of miss that, particularly when there's nothing good on the Internets.
Because if there's nothing good on, it's up to you to provide something.
