:: RSS fun…

i'm investigating how to incorporate an RSS feed for work so that folks like you could display best fares or travel specials on your pages. As part of that, i've grabbed a nifty little tool. That i'm now running on my taskbar. Again, just trying it out to see what it can do, but dang, i'm really starting to see the appeal.

    Believe it or not, it's not a problem.

    There are a few other tools available.

    hi JR

    This is super cool! Good luck!

    Yahoo needs to start embracing the web. And there's a strong argument to yahoo's tix sales with this one.

    I'll be ready to support a best fares feed for the tools i've been working on, anytime.

    Well, things are still in the explore phase more than anything else. one issue that looms pretty large is whether i'll get the rights to publish the data, plus there are more than a few business issues to contend with. To be blunt, this is more a midnight engineering project than anything else, although i'm pushing hard to get buyoff.

    My only real complaing about FeedReader was that I couldn't shake the stupid default subscriptions from my list. I don't care what happens in Estonia!

    Personally, I'm very much in love with Spaces, although it's Java, so it runs like a pig on a Win machine. Still a faboo program tho'. It's taking over my life. I now run my Email and all the blogs I read out of it.

    And if neither of those do it for you, there's always BlogSpace's Huge RSS Readers List.

    The latest IM (Y!/MSN/ICQ/AOL/IRC) client from Trillian (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com) has a great plugin available for following RSS feeds. A nice way to keep up to date with your favorite blogs :)
