It's funny how you can get a certain "vibe" off of some folks. Oddly, in one case i'm fairly sure that the vibe is the product of a great deal of mental alarm bells going off.
No, i'm fairly certain that the person in question won't be toting in any weaponry and a hankering for a bit of target practice, but he just comes off as… i dunno… a tad TOO eager to learn the inner workings of stuff, maybe delve a bit TOO deep into personal histories. It's almost like he's interviewing us more than we interviewed him.
Well, to be honest, i didn't interview him, and i tend to be a tad overly paranoid about a great many things, but there's just something… odd. Now, granted, the worst this guy could do is skip off in the dark of night with a rather full USB drive, but that's a problem any industry faces, and that happy little NDA means that should that happen, the legal team gets fresh meat in the tank. Likewise, i'm certain that my generally odd feeling is more a product of years of intense training in such things and his lack of social skills.
Still, i can't help but think i should keep a wary eye out for this one.
