Wanna speed up your downloads in firefox TREMENDOUSLY?
1. Clear your Download Manager of all existing entries (That's what was causing your browser to sit there like an idiot for 15+ seconds after grabbing the file).
2. Go into about:config and set browser.download.manager.retention to 1. This will clear the download manager when you close firefox.
Optional. Curse mildly under your breath as you realize that someone, somewhere thought having a history of 100+ downloads was "a good idea".
