So, i got the new phone, and it's pretty spiff (for the most part). i'm having problems getting the DUN working, but everything else is going pretty much as planned.
Oddly, though, i've learned something kinda unexpected.
While transferring contact info to the new phone, i suddenly realized that a good 80-90% of the contacts were either wrong or i no longer needed. People come and go, move, drop off the face of the earth, or otherwise become less unreachable than the quick dial number you once had for them. This exercise has also shown just how horribly out of date my Y!Address book is. Looks like i get to do some bulk editing on that puppy as well.
i guess i just find it kind of funny how Sprint is currently pushing "On Line Backups" for contact info. Of course, i'm saying no, but geez, makes me really wonder about how much cruft folks might be hauling around.
Hey, it's going to be spring soon. i guess i'm just getting a jump on the cleaning.
