:: Dear Lazy Geek Web

i'm having a problem and need more experienced minds to help.

So, i've got a cellphone i want to use while doing things with my hands. (Like driving, you pervert.) In order to do that, i need some sort of mechanism to allow me to use the phone and not increase my insurance premium.

i had a wired headset that works fairly well, except that Anne Marie needed something for the same purposes. So i got a second wired headset that seemed like a good idea at the time. It was cheap (bonus), retractable (bonus, kindof) and featured a clip. The problem was that the clip was cleverly located near the phone, the retractor hung so that it kept trying to pull the ear piece out and if i turned such that i put any load on the cord, the damn thing retracted. So… not so good.

While looking for a replacement, i stumbled upon a Motorola H300 Bluetooth headset that was on sale for about $35. It ran off a AAA battery and was fairly small. Unfortunately, it sucks. Mightily. As in, the button doesn't really work all that well and nobody can hear me when i use it. Plus, well, i still get the temptation to wear it on my chest and call for the Enterprise, but i'll probably get over that.

So, where do you come in? Well, i'm looking for a what would be a good bluetooth headset that doesn't cost a zillion dollars. i only need the thing occasionally (like when i drive), but i'd prefer something that i could either recharge easily or runs off a replaceable battery.

Suggestions?
