Based off the near constant prodding of Alice, i picked up Portal.
It cost $20, and was worth every penny. It's a seriously twisted blast, and considering that i was able to finish it, not terribly difficult, (i'd guess that i finished it in around 8-10 hours because i suck at shooting things.) If you're wondering if you should get it, YES YOU SHOULD! No arguments. Granted, it does help if you have a fairly new machine and up-to-date video drivers, but that's no excuse. There will be cake and little friends that eternally watch and wait to ask you if you need help.
The weighted companion cube does not talk, but loves you anyway.
