Ok, first off, no i won't. i don't like macs. i don't like what they do to developers (OpenDoc, GameSprokets, etc.) i don't find their interfaces any more or less confusing than any other system, and i don't think they build very good hardware either. Plus, i understand that a few folks don't have such high opinions of Leopard.
Second, note that unlike every other "news" item, i can't dismiss this one. It's there for however long Apple is willing to pony up cash to show it to me. This, one assumes, differs from the various other ads being displayed on this page only in how much Apple was willing to pony up.
You know, it's not like i really used Facebook for much before, but i'm finding even less reasons to use them now.
Heh, you and about three other folks gave me various greasemonkey scripts to do that. It's an attractive option, but the thing is that I'm not really sure it's worth it. I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out what the appeal is to Facebook, other than the digital equivalent of Mr. Potato Head, only with more annoying content. I don't really do anything there except for accept friend notices and turn off marketing preferences.
hehe, jr, a link to pcmag.com for people that don't like macs? isn't that like a mac-lover posting a link to macworld.com in order to show people that don't like pcs?

I have a beta greasemonkey script that makes this crap go away, because I had a hate on for sponsored ads and "Popular x in y" entries.
