Going through my mail (the physical sort. i like it. It's nostalgic) tonight i spotted an offer from the dealer i bought my car from for a 22.5 Month Inspection. Now, considering that i've got 18K on the car, just had the 15K a few months ago, and am completely unaware of any component that has a date based "freshness" associated with it, i'm a bit skeptical.
Ok, more than a bit.
Considering that the "service" contained a list of items they'd preform which was:
- Inspection
- free car wash
All for $176.
Yeppers, pay 'em to find stuff that's not wrong and get a carwash.
Sorry Mr. Dealer, but Harvey's Car Wash down the street charges $20 (and gives me a free air freshener).
