On the way into the mall tonight, Anne Marie spotted a $5. No one else was on the floor (i mean, there were cars, but we were on the third deck of a 4 deck structure so everyone was fighting for the spot on the first floor), so it wasn't obvious where it came from. We picked it up (because, duh, money), but then came the question "What to do with it?"
Mind you, when i find $5, i keep it. i've lost more than my fair share of cash so when i find some lying around, i figure it's getting a bit of it back.
Anne Marie put it in the Salvation Army pot.
So out of curiousity, what would you do?
-
Using money that's not yours for some kind of bail-out seems like the in thing at the moment.
-
the other week, i also picked up a $5 bill at the mall. unlike anne marie, i put it in one of those mall racer rental machines and got my son a mall racer to ride around in.
-
Buy a Salvation Army pot.
-
$5 would pay for lunch, $20 would get lunch for 4 but with guilt, anything over $20 would go to charity.
-
Obviously, I would buy tea bags and crumpets, then invite the Vicar round for the ultimate guilt free munch-up. Of course it helps that $5 is actually worth something now.
-
You can do like these folks did and eat for 2 1/2 days (you and Anne-Marie)...
-
i would of bought 5 gallons of gas.
Wanna join in?
